The Livery Theatre

Owned and operated by the non-profit Goderich Little Theatre, this playhouse has been a theatre for over 40 years, however, it’s beginning dates back much early than that. According to local records, the rear of the Livery was constructed in the 1840s as a harness shop and underwent two additions over the 1870s. It would later become Goderich’s first ever car dealership. The building was due to be demolished in the 1970s, but was recognized as a historical site and was then transformed into a theatre!
