Goderich plays host to a variety of festivals and events throughout the year. Summer and Fall welcome a number of outdoor activities for all, while Spring and Winter see the activities move indoors (for the most part). Whether you are coming to Goderich for a specific event, or just visiting on a long weekend, there will most certainly be something to do while you are here!

Goderich’s signature events are a draw to both locals and visitors. Some are homegrown by local volunteers and others are offered by the town. Many have visited from around the world and many have placed down roots as a result of enjoying the town and its offerings. From music to markets to children’s events, Goderich competes on the main stage for your entertainment.

Goderich Celtic Roots Festival and College

The Celtic Roots Festival is a three-day outdoor festival in August showcasing the world’s best of Celtic music, dance, and art all in the beautiful setting of Goderich, Ontario. With five stages, varying from small intimate performances to the high-powered Main Stage, the Festival is a unique musical experience in Canada and on the world-wide stage. Fresh local food, high-quality craft artisans, art demonstrations, children’s activity area, an evening market – and over 60 hours of live music – make this an unmissable weekend in Goderich.

Goderich Farmers’ Markets

Wake up early on Saturday morning to be the first to select your locally grown fruits and vegetables, and fresh flowers. Browse jams and jellies and artisans creations. The Courthouse Square continues its tradition of being a market of goods. Sundays 8 a.m. to noon.
