Goderich Tourism Youth T-Shirt Design Contest: Rules and Submission Form
Eligibility:
Open to children aged 4-13 living or attending school in Goderich, Ontario.
Participants must have parental or guardian consent.
Employees or volunteers of the Town of Goderich, their affiliates, associates, immediate family members, and anyone living with them are not eligible.
Contest Period:
Begins on June 1, 2025, and ends on July 1, 2025.
Entries must be received by July 1, 2025. Late entries will not be considered.
How to Enter:
Design an original graphic that represents the Town of Goderich and is suitable for a youth T-shirt.
Fill out and submit an entry form with a parent or guardian’s signature and your design attached.
Submit entries in person at the Goderich Tourism Information Centre or via email to tourism@goderich.ca.
Only one entry per person is allowed.
Design Requirements:
The design must be original and created entirely by the participant.
The subject matter must be suitable for children’s T-shirts, and any text included must be legible.
The design can be hand drawn or digitally created.
The design should be approximately the size of a piece of letter paper (8.5×11”).
Prize:
The winning design will be featured on a line of youth-sized T-shirts.
The winner will receive a T-shirt with their artwork on it and a Goderich branded package, valued at $150.00.
The prize is not redeemable for cash.
Winner Selection:
The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges based on creativity, originality, and adherence to theme.
The decision of the judges is final.
Winner will be notified by phone by July 4, 2025, and must answer a skill-testing question.
No correspondence will be exchanged except with the selected winner.

By accepting the prize, the winner grants the Goderich Tourism Information Centre permission to use their name, age, design, and likeness for promotional purposes across various media without additional compensation.
The Goderich Tourism Information Centre assumes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, or delayed entries.
All entries become the property of the Goderich Tourism Information Centre and will not be returned.
The Goderich Tourism Information Centre reserves the right to substitute prizes and to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest if necessary. Goderich Tourism reserves the right to change the rules of this contest at any time.
Contests are subject to all federal, provincial, and municipal laws.
The winner, and their parent/guardian, must sign a release form acknowledging the contest rules.
Privacy:
Information is used solely for contest administration and not shared outside the sponsor and their affiliates.
